Lisette and Leah Scabar; sisters and co-owners of
The Flying Trunk, Victoria B.C., have been successfully
planning children's birthday parties since August 2000. These events
include, glamour fashion runway shows, magical tea parties,
spa parties and more.
Lisette and Leah were inspired to create theme
parties based on happy childhood memories, "When we were
little girls some of our most memorable times were those spent
digging through our mother's old trunk or wardrobe. We would spend
hours dressing up and putting on shows for anyone and everyone in
the neighborhood." 
Lisette and Leah wanted to share these memorable
activities with local children and found a way to do just that!
They combined their fondest childhood memories, creative talents
and education to create unforgettable birthday experiences... and
so
The Flying Trunk was born!
Their all-inclusive theme party packages were
inspired by busy parents who find the idea of planning and
orchestrating a party to be exhausting. Therefore, The
Flying Trunk theme
party specialists transform your party space with theme-related
props, entertain your guests and even clean up after! Their
mission is to create affordable, memorable celebrations where
parents can actually relax and enjoy the festivities.
